VVS Malis deserve a pat-on-the-back

The Winning Team- Chote Lal, Raj Kumar, Ram Baran, Tulsi Ram, Nanhe Lal, Ram Kalap, Kishori Lal , Arjun Prasad, Arun and Sarabadin.

VVS won many prizes at the Golden Jubilee Flower Show 2008 held at Delhi University on Friday, 22nd February, 2008.

The various prizes were in different categories.
1. Amongst different Secondary Schools, Universities and other Educational Institutions for potted plants the VVS entries earned 2nd and 3rd prizes in 9 Sections of different plants. In the Cut Flowers Section, VVS got the 1st prize for Dahlias, 2nd prize for Gerberas and 3rd prize for Californian Double Poppies.
2. In the General Category open to Institutions, Schools and Individuals, VVS won the 2nd prize for the Group arrangement of 24 pots, and 2nd and 3rd prizes for Foliage Pots.
3. VVS also won the coveted Golden Jubilee Cup instituted specially for the year 2008 for making the Delhi University Logo in flowers.
