Play Therapy

Play is a child’s natural medium to learn, communicate and explore their own world. Play is vital to every child’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, creative and language development. It is proven through research that it is through play that children best express themselves.
Play Therapy is a mode of therapy that helps children to explore their feelings, to express themselves and to make sense of their life experiences. In play therapy with special needs children, sessions focus on both issue-based themes as well as relationship-based themes. It can focus on skills development as well as resolving emotional issues. Any child can benefit from play therapy. It promotes self-confidence, imagination, creativity, concentration, communication, problem-solving skills, self-esteem and most importantly happiness in the child.
