November 12th 2010 Simran Sadana, batch of 2006 was awarded the Manmohan Singh Scholarship by the Delhi School of Economics. Congratulations! "In addition to Economics my present interest lie in Actuarial Sciences coupled with Ikebana and Vocal Music. I have completed the Advanced Course in Ikebana from the Ohara School of Ikebana in Tokyo and I am pursuing Vocal Music from the Trinity College, U.K. These diverse interests were ingrained in me on account of the emphasis given by VVS on holistic development..
