Asian Youth Development Programme, Okinawa – 2014

3 August 2014 - 24 August 2014

Isha Gupta and Indraneel Roy of class 12 are currently representing India at the Asian Youth Development Programme in Okinawa, Japan from the 3rd to the 24th of August 2014.
AYDPO (Asian Youth Development Programme Okinawa) is a 20 days long programme hosted by the Okinawa Prefecture Government. The programme is being held on the four islands of Okinawa, Japan. Two students each from 14 different Asian countries, along with 25 Japanese students, are working together to learn about and understand various environment related issues.
These high school students are living together and learning about each other’s cultures too. They attend talks and lectures by eminent persons, work in groups and participate in a number of projects and activities on and around the islands, each culminating in a presentation. They will also stay with a Japanese family in Okinawa from the 15th to the 17th of August.

We are grateful to our alumni, Ishaan Gupta (Class of 2006), Medha Vira Gupta (Class of 2009) and Samvid Gupta (Class of 2010) for their generous support in creating the website.
