We’re thrilled to share that on 25th March Frank Anthony School Cricket tournament finals was an absolute nail-biter! Vasant Valley School bowled first against Frank Anthony School, and they set a target of 95 runs in 20 overs.
Our bowlers put up a stellar performance: Soham took 2 wickets, Kabir claimed 3 wickets, and Aarav, Aaditva & Shreyas contributed crucially, restricting them to a manageable total.
In chase, our top order struggled initially, but Ameir and Taksh stepped up – Ameir smashed an incredible 42 runs, and Taksh chipped in with 19. They steered the ship towards the target. We needed just 5 runs off the last over with one wicket left.
And then – NANDA BEAST! Blasted a SIX over point on the 4th ball of the final over, securing a thrilling victory for Vasant Valley School!
