Dr. Manidipa Bannerjee, Assisstant Professor, School of Biological Sciences, IIT-Delhi was the speaker. She is a Virologists and spoke to the students on the basic structure, classification and properties of viruses. She also gave the students an insight on how she “manufactures” viruses in her lab and converts these so-called dangerous organisms to be used for human benefit.
