Vasant Valley celebrated the Universal language of movement Dance on International Dance Day on Friday the 29th of April 2022. International Dance Day is celebrated in honour of ballet master Jean Georges Noverre.
On the 29th of April, students of Dance Specialisation from classes 5 to 12 performed an array of dances from all over the world, ranging from suave moves of Jazz, Popping and freestyle to the elegant Kuchipudi, Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Bihu. The highlight of the event of course was the performance by students of class 9 who performed to a medley of Bollywood songs. The engagement from the audience proved that it was an enriching experience for the audience as well.
Performing for a live audience after two years was an uplifting experience for the dancers.
