The Class 12 Psychology students visited Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon on the 26th of February 2013 for a highly informative two hour presentation by Dr. Samir Parikh and his colleagues. The doctors explained the causes, symptoms and treatment of various psychological disorders. In addition to the disorders, issues regarding alcohol and drug abuse by teenagers were also taken up. This very enlightening talk ended with an interesting question and answer session during which the doctors further educated us on the treatment of psychological disorders and substance abuse. It was an eye-opening field trip for us all.
