ST Yau Science Award

Anshuman Singh’s paper on “Data Analysis on the Spread of Covid 19 in India” has been shortlisted for the second stage of the ST Yau Science Award, a research-based competition in Hong Kong.He had submitted his paper under the Applied Mathematics Category. Entries were submitted from across the Asia Pacific Region and included countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and China. In the past year, over 285 teams had registered for the competition and submitted entries. The competition was started by professor ST Yau of Harvard University and is affiliated with the Tsinghua University(China), Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, The Institute of Mathematical Sciences Hong Kong, and the Chinese Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
