The Inter-House Indian Music Competition for the Senior School (Classes VI–XII) was held on 30th July 2026 at Vasant Manch with great enthusiasm and participation from all four houses—Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow.
In the Solo Vocal (Hindustani Classical) category, Blue House secured the first position, followed by Yellow House in the second position and Green House in the third position. In the Duet category (open theme), Yellow House emerged as the winner, while Red House and Blue House secured the second and third positions respectively. The Instrumental (Hindustani Classical) category witnessed an impressive performance by Yellow House, which secured the first position, followed by Green House and Blue House in the second and third positions. In the Group Song (Folk Music) category, Yellow House claimed the first position, with Blue House securing the second position and Red House achieving the third position. Yellow House emerged as the Overall Champion.
The event was a celebration of Indian music and provided students with a valuable platform to enhance their performance skills and appreciation for India’s rich musical heritage.
The Performing Arts Department expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, judges, teachers, staff and students for their support and contribution towards making the competition a grand success.
