The 20th Vasant Valley School English Debate for the India Today Cup was held on Thursday, 25th October and Friday, 26th October, 2018 at Vasant Valley School, New Delhi. This year students from over 30 schools engaged in meaningful discussions on issues pertaining to socio-economic and political domains.
Participants from the NCR included students of The Shri Ram School, Moulsari and Aravali, Sanskriti School, Modern School, Vasant Vihar, Modern School Barakhamba Road, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, Pathways School, Noida, Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, Step By Step School, Noida, New Era Public School, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj, Bluebells School International, Tagore International School, Shiv Nadar School, Noida, and Vasant Valley School.
The debate also brought together participants from across the country including students from La Martiniere College for Girls, Kolkata, La Martiniere College for Boys, Lucknow, Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata, Dhirubai Ambani School, Mumbai, Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, Vivek High School, Chandigarh, Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, The Doon School, Dehradun, Neerja Modi School, Jaipur, Mayo College Boys and Girls, Ajmer, St. Joseph’s School Allahabad, Ajmer, Sherwood College, Nainital, Sishya School, Chennai, Mallya Aditi, Bengaluru, and GEMS Modern Academy, Dubai.
