Day 1 – 6th October, 2021
The first day of the Vasant Valley School Debate, for The India Today Cup, 2021 saw the participation of 29 schools from across the country and even internationally. The motions revolved around the themes of ‘Education’ and ‘Pop Culture’ in the first and second preliminary rounds respectively. Participants exhibited thorough and informed analytical aptitude and confident oratory skills throughout the two rounds. We look forward to an equally engaging and intellectually stimulating debating experience in the 3rd and 4th preliminary rounds and quarter finals tomorrow.
Day 2 – 7th October, 2021
After two equally enthralling rounds of debating, the 8 teams that qualified for the quarter finals were Mothers International School, Vasant Valley School (Maroon), The Shri Ram School Moulsari, Pathways School Noida, Vasant Valley School (Beige), Cathedral and John Connan School and Modern High School for Girls. The teams debated on motions based on the theme of Gender. Tomorrow Vasant Valley School (Maroon), Vasant Valley School (Beige), The Shri Ram School Moulsari and Mothers International School will compete in the semi finals.
Day 3 – 8th October, 2021
The winner of the 23rd Vasant Valley Debate for the India Today Cup 2021 is Vasant Valley School.
