Vasant Valley School welcomed thirty students and a teacher from Shibuya and Makuhari schools, Tokyo, Japan, from 12th to 16th August. With visitors paired with Class 11 host families, the exchange programme provided an enriching environment for immersive cultural sharing and lasting friendships between Vasant Valley School and Japanese students
During their visit, the Japanese students attended classes alongside their hosts. They enthusiastically participated in a range of engaging activities, including Japanese Calligraphy, Tie and Dye, Warli Art, Block Printing and a Robotics workshop at the newly established Inovvarium. Staying with their host families allowed them to experience Indian culture, traditions and family life firsthand. They also explored Delhi through visits to Dilli Haat, Rashtrapati Bhawan and many more places.
The programme created wonderful learning opportunities, sharing cultures and building friendships. Everyone is now eagerly looking forward to the visit to Japan in November, hoping to create many more cherished memories and lasting friendships.
