Synapse is the inter-school Science event organised by the Vasant Valley School. The 13th edition of Synapse focused on providing a platform to the young minds to showcase the essential skills involved in science – experimentation, research, problem-solving, and inquiry.
Mystery Trail:
Participants had to navigate a series of twelve enigmatic treasure spots, each presenting a unique scientific challenge. Imagine unravelling riddles about the cosmos, deciphering puzzles about the natural world, and overcoming mind-bending obstacles with your knowledge and ingenuity.

The Quiz:
After tackling a series of engaging and difficult preliminary questions, qualifiers were met with the final round. Here, students answered a variety of unique question s ranging from disease topics to science fiction literature. Students exercised their critical thinking abilities while applying their extensive knowledge of scientific phenomenon, principles, and history.

Experimental Challenge:
Experimental Challenges was an event conducted for students of grade 11 wherein they were given experiments and were required to record their observations and inferences. The team with the most number of correct answers won!

Discovery Quest:
This research based event for class 12 took place in two rounds, with the first pitting the 10 schools against each other in presenting a previously shared problem statement. The winners from the first round proceeded to the final round wherein a new problem statement was given and after an hour for experimentation and preparation, the topic was to be presented to a panel of judges.
