The 25th edition of the Vasant Valley Debate for the India Today Cup 2023 successfully concluded on the 1st of November 2023. The tournament witnessed a total of thirty-two teams, including twelve outstation teams, fiercely competing against each other in different rounds. The motions of the debate were based on wide-ranging topics such as global perspectives, postcolonial history, education, conflict and violence, and more. The participants showcased their kaleidoscopic perspectives and brilliant articulation skills through their speeches that indeed ‘made the house change its mind’ several times.
At the end of the intense final round, the team representing The Emerald Heights International School, Indore, lifted the cup with their debate against Neerja Modi School, Jaipur.
